The Spanish Air Safety Agency (AESA) has suspended “All UAV Operations in Spanish Airspace on April 8, 2014" It seems the skies are open again if your drone is bellow 25kg flight weight and you are not allowed to fly in urban areas. (Taken from Riot Media)
Permit to Fly is granted by NAA, based on specific national rules, possibly on a case-to-case basis& for a limited duration.
There are two big clasifications.
- Recreational & sport flights.
This fligths don't require any special permission.
- Comercial flights:
Pilot requires special flight license.
< 25 kg Only day flights. Contact information in the UAV. 120 meters maximum height. Line of shight max. 500 meters. NOTAM notification.
< 2kg Only day flights. Contact information in the UAV. 120 meters maximum height. NOTAM notification.
